Accessibility statement
Accessibility at Vina.
How Vina Enoteca makes its Palo Alto restaurant website accessible: WCAG 2.2 AA design, screen reader support, display options and direct help by phone.
Our commitment
A table for everyone.
We want every guest to be able to read our menus, find our hours and book a table, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This website is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
The site works with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation, uses descriptive text for every photograph, publishes every menu as readable text rather than images or PDFs, and respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.
The accessibility button in the corner of every page offers one-tap profiles, each bundling the adjustments for a real need: Blind (a jump menu of every section and a clear focus ring), Motor impaired (larger targets, a big cursor and hover highlighting), Color-blind (a blue and amber palette with non-color cues), Visually impaired (larger text and spacing, a text magnifier and high contrast), Seizure safe (no animation and muted reds and photos), ADHD friendly (a movable focus mask), Cognitive and learning (a simpler one-column layout, a reading guide and a consistent focus ring), Elderly and senior (larger, calmer text and controls) and Dyslexia (the OpenDyslexic typeface and taller lines, with letter and line spacing you can adjust).
Every adjustment can also be switched on or off individually, and profiles can be combined. Your choices are saved on this device only, and nothing is sent to us or to a third party. The profiles add to, and never replace, the screen reader, zoom and display settings on your own device.
If anything on the site is hard to use, please call us at (650) 752-4757 and we will help you directly and fix the problem.
